Grace | WNC Portrait Photographer

Ooh, this shoot was so much fun, and we got a ton done in just a couple hours. Grace lived up to her name, waking up early, trudging through wet grass, and dodging cow patties…oh, and chickens! She was such a trooper and SO natural! I enjoyed every minute of it, and we got some uh-mazing shots.

There were SO many images to choose from, I couldn’t narrow it down any more for the sneak peek. Enjoy!:)

I Heart Faces | Props

This week’s I Heart Faces theme is “Props”.  Well, how about some vintage luggage?

You may have already seen my sneak peek of this amazing girl who recently embarked on an 11 month mission trip, but I thought this photo would be perfect for the props challenge.  Be sure and check out the other “Props” entries here:

After reading that she was leaving on an 11 month trip, the luggage is absolutely a perfect choice! I enjoy the distance from which you took this shot, the arch of the trees and the feel of her anticipation. Nice work!

Foto Friday 27/52 | We’re Back!

child photographer

We’re baaaaack!  This summer has been crazy and so has been keeping up my Project 52.  Not that I don’t have pictures to share…lots of days at the lake, family trips, a lost & found dog, the girls starting preschool…I hope to do a major summer catch-up one of these days.  For now, I thought I better just get back on track so I don’t fall further behind.

I hope you all are enjoying your summer as well!  I love the sunshine and the afternoon thunderstorms that come along with the heat, unless it interferes with a shoot of course!  Do any of you have trips or special plans before the fall?
