A quick preview for the Landreth Family… so nice to spend time with you last week! More to come in your gallery!
For those of you who keep up with my facebook page, you know that I recently went to Las Vegas, NV for a one-on-one mentoring session with the incredibly talented Kelsey of Kelsey Anderson Photography. I was thrilled! I’ve been following Kelsey’s work since shortly after she got started, and am inspired by how quickly she has grown, not to mention how beautiful her work is! I have to admit I was a little intimidated hopping on a plane by myself, going to Las Vegas nonetheless, but the excitement far outweighed the intimidation.
Mentorship day was great, nonstop, encouraging & fun! Kelsey talked fast, and a lot! She had ‘models’ lined up for shooting in the morning & the evening and we conversed & ‘talked shop’ over indulgent food like Reese’s Peanut Butter Chocolate Cake Cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory. Nom, nom! She had me this close to switching over all my gear to Nikon, but, eh, she’s still working on that one!Anyways, here are a few shots I took during our morning shoot:
The Session Box is a great way to not have to let a single image go! This beautiful 5×7 image box boasts of a custom photo cover, spine, and back. And when you order a Session Box, it includes a 5×7 print of each image from your gallery! Great for sitting on the coffee table or showing off in your library.
The Session Box is also included in the Ultimate Collection and the Digital Collection.
I have to admit that it was a little bittersweet that this was the last recipe swap for 2011. I’ve loved having the excuse to hang out with you and enjoyed meeting new friends; expanding my recipe box was just the added bonus! Since this was the last one before the end-of-year busy-ness, we shared some of our Holiday Favorites…
You can click on a thumbnail below to view the recipe submitted.
As a side note, Dorota’s Bruschetta recipe from our Italian swap was featured over on evoking you, an inspiration blog for photographers! Stop by & check out the other mouth-watering recipes over there, and maybe you’ll be inspired to try something else new during our “holiday break”.
Crisp fall days are upon us, and I am absolutely loving this weather! Here’s another wardrobe inspiration board for your next shoot — maybe for a Christmas card? The colors outside should be gorgeous this coming month…hint hint.
If you are wanting family portraits before the holidays, sessions will need to take place before November 30th to ensure your prints for Christmas. To book a session please e-mail: contact [at] rik-seephotography.com
