Well, here’s Reese “reading” her favorite book, Dogs, one afternoon in her bedroom. ::sigh:: She’s looking all grown up.
For memories sake, I just have to say that this outfit didn’t last long…she kept popping the buttons open every time she’d crouch down to grab something…haha! Olivia wore this until she was nearly two; go figure!![]()
Oh, and I have to just quickly mention that this adorable little headband comes from DeBloom Designs. I love this girl’s stuff. Super cute, great quality, and not expensive!
Also, be sure to check out the latest Project 52 post over at the styleberry BLOG, my primary inspiration for starting this project in the first place. Her first post can be found here, absolutely beautifully written.
Alright, ya’ll, have a great weekend!

I love how you are doing this Jodi! What lucky little girls to grow up and have these amazing photos of them as babies! I think this is a wonderful idea and I am inspired to attempt as well since so much will change this year for me, it would be nice to have a photo journal of it at the end
What size are you making your photos? Are you going to do them all the same?
You definitely should, Kristin! I only wished I would have started something like this sooner. And what an exciting year you have ahead of you! Hope you’re enjoying all the wedding planning!
For any editing that I do, I leave all of my photos their original size. That way, whatever I decide to do to them later, I can save at whatever output size is best for the application. For example, for the blog, I scale the images down to 600px wide at 72dpi, which is great for loading the site, but not what I’ll use to make the actual book later (so I never save over the original). Hope this helps!
Yes, she does look grown up here! What a sweetie she is!
beautiful! and yes, she is looking very grown up!
What a cutie pie Olivia is – love her headband too.
I went to shutterfly, which is where I will get mine printed since a friend for Xmas gave me a gift card for that site, & found out what i liked & what size I would need. However, I was making my originals that size which I will not do from now on, whoops!
Thanks for the tips!!
