The propeller (is that what it’s called? LOL) is a perfect line to draw your eye from one side of the photo to the other. (Called “Leading lines”…..I know, I’m all smart and stuff!) This week’s challenge on I Heart Faces is “Vroom, Vroom”: using an image that has some kind of vehicle in it AND a face. Dad & I have talked about taking some shots of him & his “bird” for quite a while, but this is just the incentive I needed. I called him up last night and made time to take some shots this morning. The fog was thick, but it made a great natural backdrop, and I was happy to put my 10-22 to use.

I love the simplicity of this photo. It's almost James Bondish. The fog makes it surreal. Very cool!
